Yup, this small usability issue has been itching me too for a while.If you create a Jira issue, I'll vote for it (or maybe there's an issue already?)

Sure, you are absolutely free to use whatever makes sense - just don't blame me for any bugs that may exist ;)The main issue with my plugin was that it only considered annotations and did not parse...

Just use Ctrl-Y instead.It would be very strange if Cut would not put anything to the clipboard.

your Spring supportI am in no way affiliated with JetBrains - just a long time Idea user that is currently using Seam a lot.Of course Spring support is working much smoother - it is much more matur...

BTW: You do know that in Idea 7.x you get a useful level of Seam support (mainly EL resolving Seam components) by mapping the xhtml extension (if you use facelets) to the JSPx file type, right?

2) has been implemented in IDEA for as long as I use it (IDEA 3.x).Just use the context menu on the variable (IIRC there's also a shortcut for it, that you'll see advertised in the context menu).

Thanks Bas, I'm glad to have that functionality.I just wonder how that shortcut can somehow be shown in the UI (toolbar button "Focus Editor"?).It's something nobody would ever be able to guess.

I guess you should file an issue "Seam: Component defined with @Datamodel isn't resolved" in Jira:http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspaThis already used to work in previous builds.
