I also see this performance degradation. Some builds before it was much faster. I also use a fair number of modules (about 30), maybe that is the problem?

I wouldn't want a warning: Maybe you are just not using Idea to build, but edit library source and use ant to rebuild the library.But a different tab icon would be definitly nice.(Editor background...

We will try to update at least the more important refactorings so that they report module-dependency relatedproblems in Pallada.It seems build 2118 already contains some module dependency checking....
