Just to bump this I am unable to use it on OS X 10.5.8 as well - freezes when trying to browse to a project in the open project menu - first menu item I click - freeze.

I did not get to, I have had to switch back to Eclipse at work right now because I can't keep fighting the editor. I need to get some things done...Flex support is almost useless for me right now.
