I guess the confusion for me is how the main vue script is injected into the development public/index.html page.  And, then how do I set it up so that the main.js file in the clients folder is also...

Ah, that's where that was.  I was looking for an .eslintrc.js file and couldn't find one.  When I created one with that rule that worked fine but then I ran into a bunch of other "errors".  Thanks!
