no, nothing was running. I think  automatic means on source code change. And it really updates editor (adds/removes red underline) when I type but not problems list.

fixed by removing <entry name="!?*.groovy" /> from project/.idea/compiler.xml. X-(

I don't care about groovy,  there are no groovy scripts in my project. So far I managed to run glassfish locally, but still can't run testcases - it saysClass not found: "...Test"Class not found: "...
