I don't see how a settings repository will help me sync spelling words or default run configurations. I did a commit just to be sure and sure enough I don't see any file containing dictionary words...

Maybe that is *because* it's 5 years old, and focuses mainly on the term "inherit" which is different from this. When I posted this I didn't find that bug report, and I certainly searched.
