I just set a new keymap for Back and Forward In Pycharm under File -> settings -> Keymap -> [Back] and [Forward], which worked quite well.

In the end, I installed from .tar.gz instead of snap. If I renamed "jbr" to "jbr_old" (essentially deleting it), then it loaded fine. This is a strange solution and I don't understand why it worked...

I removed all versions of Java, then installed Java 8, but it still fails to start. Note, copying the folder of pycharm-2018.3.2 from another machine to this machine worked. But the Snap install ...
