note - I wouldn't mind if I needed to add some annotations or use a proxy pattern or whatever Direct validation would be hard indeed, but one could define schema and somehow assign it to both types...

I've found a nice workaround: 1. Start all apps you use at once 2. Go get a coffee 3. Come back to a fully initialized workplace. :)

So, I need an Ultimate to have syntax highlighting... Is it possible to create a file format definition, like in Vim or Notepad++? I would define a HTML format there along with django tags.

Well the infouniversities' solution worked for me. Better insecure than not working at all. Is there any other way?
