yeah, I'm having this problem as well and core.filemode was the first thing I thought of however, it seemed like it was having 0 effect and lead me up the garden path until I realized the IDE cache...

I have git hooks and see no option. I cant get PhpStorm to run my git hooks. They only run if I use git from the command line.

Just put `bash` or better yet `wsl` as your terminal command no need to locate the files.

IM here because phpstorm just doesnt refresh any file changes at all done outside the editor. Sometimes takes 10 if the file edited externally is the one your currently looking at. Its really bad. ...
