The master..feature filter works very well. Exactly what I was looking for. But, I wish there would be an automatic option or a single click solution.

Just found out, that I can use Window -> Store current layout as default and Window -> Restore default.

Good idea. I always have multiple projects open. The Windows Taskbar is not helpful for that. I got used to the Window menu, but tabs would be so much more productive.
