That's nothing - only yesterday I saw IntelliJ use about about 5GB of RAM with one Kotlin + Rust project open. Directly after a clean startup and clicking a few tabs, bam, 3500MiB GB + gradle daemon

Also did the trick for me, the IJ process went down by about a third! (and the total utilization went down even more)...Too bad, Codota is dope for Java projects but that's just too much.Ah, whatev...
