nnoremap doesn't remap the key if it has already been set (like with a plugin) and the preceding `n`  means that this binding only works in "normal"/"command" mode if you want it to work in insert ...

Unfortunately as it is a proprietary codebase I cant find any good examples I can share that show what I am talking about. The type hints show sometimes, so will just have to work with what I have....
