The problem is the one presented in the title: "[bug] Keyboard get locked in IntelliJ IDEA". with workaround "ibus-daemon -rd" that after years for me is a mantra

Is this bug going to be fixed? It was reported in 2010 and still bites a lot.In the paid version, also.
