IntelliJ 2023.1 cannot build/run project

Hi all,
After updating IntelliJ to version 2023.1, all projects are giving the following error: The output path is not specified for module foo.bar
If I enter an output directory in the Project Structure -> Compiler Output, it gives another error that the directory does not exist.
At the moment the IDE is unusable
