Pycharm EDU and Pycharm Professional will not load EDU course

On Windows 10 64bit installing Pycharm EDU by itself and loading the educational course "Python Introduction" the project is not displayed and you cannot use the course, I uninstalled Pycharm EDU and installed the Professional version which I am licensed for and added the EDU plugins and went to launch the project to use the course and the same issue is present. The projects loads however Pycharm sits at the generic placeholder text of keyboard shortcuts when you're not looking at project files. I have manually gone into the project location in my C:/ and made sure that the plugins and projects are there and have even tried loading them manually in Pycharm and they will still not display the course. I have tried this on my own Linux machine and a separate Windows 10 machine that I use and both Pycharm Professional adding the EDU plugins and Pycharm EDU work correctly out of the box.
