White editor border with GTK UI theme

This is a fairly small issue, but one that bugs me a big so I figured I'd see if there was anything that could be done. When using the GTK UI theme and a darker editor theme, there is a 1 pixel border applied to the editor. Screenshots for example:

Same editor theme but with the GTK UI theme:

I'm currently using "Monokai Sublime Text 3" as my editor theme, but this border still appears with the built-in Darkula theme.

Thoughts?
