Sort Projects on PhpStorm Welcome Screen?

Is there a configuration setting that will sort the projects listed in the PhpStorm Welcome Screen each time the Welcome Screen is loaded?

AFAIK no such option -- projects are sorted by most recently used order (at least those that are not part of any group).

P.S. Standard speed search works there (just start typing). Note: speed search does not look for entries in collapsed groups
P.P.S. Outside of the Welcome screen (when project is already loaded) -- try "Frame Switcher" plugin -- it's a bit more convenient than built-in functionality (IMO).
If you like it then it must be interesting. I'll check out the Frame Switcher plugin.
