Search Everywhere key binding can't be changed in PyCharm

Answered

I'm using PyCharm 2017.1 EAP under windows 10. I'm working over remote desktop. There seems to be an issue with the remote desktop software where a single key press or mouse button click, when held for a period, is interpreted as multiple key presses. So, whenever I keep shift pressed for more than an instant, the Search Everywhere box pops up and steals focus away from my editor, which is extremely annoying. I tried changing the key binding under Settings>Keymap, but the behavior persists. How do I turn this infernal thing off or remap it?

(Please do not suggest changing remote desktop software or working locally as solutions, as these are non-options and I would want to remap the function regardless.)

Thanks, I guess I must've missed that somehow. I've voted for it. Hopefully it'll get fixed in the not too distant future.
