IntelliJ IDEA 2016.3 Folding code alway

I just upgrade to version 2016.3 and now all code gets folded by default (i.e. try / if / for / etc.). I've spent a lot of time going through all the settings trying to disable this feature with no success.

This is by far the most obnoxious, impractical and dumb feature I have ever seen in a code editor.

Does anyone know how to disable this? The previous version I was on was only folding regions and that worked pretty well.

If this is not possible, how can I revert back to the previous version I had?
