[Critical] IntelliJ 2017.1 Delete Whole Project files with remaining directories.
Answered
OS : Windows 7
I Installed IntelliJ version 2017.1 this morning after uninstalling version 2016.3.
A project opened with existing project files.
In project setting dialog, I specified spring framework configuration class in module menu.
And then erased this spring configuration setting.
At that time, all project files gone.
I started Disk Recovery Program to recover my sources.
What's wrong?

Please provide the exact steps you have performed. How did you erase the spring configuration setting? How did it look like?

I presented the request with IntelliJ log files below .IntelliJ log directory.
I have nothing to show you. Because All has gone.
In Modules panel of Project Structure, I added Spring Configuration with a JAVA class file having @Configuration.
I pressed "Apply" and "OK".
Roepend Project Structure window and using "-" button erased the above setting.
And then all gone.
That's all.
No more actions that I had beside above.

Did you remove a module?
No. I means that "-" is Spring Setting.
This one?
Are you sure you didn't remove the module instead by accident?
Can you confirm that project files on disk were also removed, not just in the project view?
In Project Structure, by modules specify the module dependent setting - JPA, Spring.
Below module I added Spring Setting, and in Spring setting panel, I add Configuration class file and remove it.
I can't reproduce the problem. Removing Spring configuration doesn't remove the project from disk.
In your third reply, captured screen shot is right.
I know. But it happened. ;-(
If you recover the project, please zip and share all the files here: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/206869619.
We'll try to reproduce it in case the files were really removed from disk.
If possible, I will.
But I'm not sure.
Any things suspicious in log files that I uploaded ?
There are several exceptions.
I can't find anything related in the logs.
