Cannot use "Show in Finder" when accessing external libraries (on Mac OS 10.12.3)

How do I get this feature to stop being grayed out? It works (not greyed out) if I right click on the "SomersMatthews_AstroML" thing.

In this case <python2.x> is not a physical folder, it's just grouping item, that's why "Reveal in Finder" action is grayed out.
Oooooh, thank you for the clarification :) I thought it was a folder. I'm trying out pycharm instead of spyder.
