Different actions when running a file vs running in Chrome
Hi,
When I run an index file I see the HTML page alone. But doing a Chrome preview also shows the sample alert box I had in the code. Why is running the file not enough to show the alert as well?

How do you run your index file? 'Run' in .html file right-click menu does the same as previewing it using Alt+F2 or View | Open in browser - opens this file in Chrome on the built-in webserver
