Database console dissapears in IDEA 2017.1

I am running Intellij IDEA 2017.1 on Linux Mint. I observed that the database console disappears immediately right after I to open it.

I tried to invalidate cache and restart but with no result

I tried to remove the already present connections as well. When doing this, right after the connection was created, the console opens up and stays. But if I close it, again it wont open anymore.

Any idea?
