Show Unique XPath disabled

Hi Folks. Long-time satisfied IDEA user here! I'm trying to use Show Unique XPath on an XML file I have, but it is grayed out. On other files the action is enabled. What are the conditions under which it is enabled? I hope this gist will help - it has the two files. Thank you. -matt

Did you change file type mappings for this specific file?
I can't reproduce the problem:

Show the screenshot of the editor, file tab icon, etc. Any errors in the log?
