WebStorm 2017.1 not stopping on breakpoints in Chrome

I have been very successfully debugging JavaScript in Chrome and also Node.js.  However, I am now setting breakpoints for a Backbone.js library called BackGrid.  When I set breakpoints on JavaScript events WebStorm never breaks.

I am able to set those same breakpoints in Chrome and debug but it would be much nice to be able to debug in WebStorm.

I have seen other threads on this topic but they are old (e.g. 2013 and 2015).

please can you provide a sample project I can use to recreate the issue?

Hi Elana, apologies for the delay.  I have just returned from holiday.  I will create a sample project with as small of a subset as possible and open a support ticket.
