Impossible to close search window in 2017.1.4

If you control+shift+f to open a window to search the project, there is no way to close the search window without clicking on a result or closing PHPstorm entirely. This is particularly problematic when working on a laptop screen with limited space where you can't just move the window out of the way. Or when your search results return 0 results, in that case, the only way to get rid of the window is close PHPstorm entirely or search for something common like "php" just to close the window.

The older versions of PHPstorm had a way to close the search window, the newest version does not. It's also stickied in front of the PHPstorm project making it impossible to work on the project once the window is open.

Oh gosh... yep escape works. I don't think I would have ever thought of that though... It's not very intuitive.

It should also be closed on clicking outside of it. Does it work for you?

@Vladimir, no it doesn't. The only thing that gets rid of it is Escape (or the above method of clicking on a result). This is on macOS 10.12.4.

Then https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-172388 might be the solution. Please vote for it (thumb up button).
