Yarn output emoji not displaying in Webstorm terminal

Yarn uses emoji in its output, however in the Webstorm terminal the emoji aren't displaying properly. The example below uses the macOS included Menlo font at size 13, but I've had the same issue using Source Code Pro. Is this a bug or is there some configuration I need to change?
