Help me restore PyCharm "slow" debugging, please!
Answered
I don't know exactly what I did. A couple weeks ago I noticed some pop-up message in the debugger to the effect of...run this command to compile the fast debugger. Ever since I did that I have been miserable. The debugger simply is not reliable. It won't hit break points...it skips over code entirely...or Python runs into SIGSEGV and exits. In other words, code that works fine from a Run configuration is unpredictable in Debug. Since I can't recall what I did, I can't research how to undo it. Can anyone help me? I'm running Community 2017.1 on OS X sierra.
I love PyCharm...I just want it back the way it was a few weeks ago!
thanks,
Will
