Cannot install/update scala plugin; handshake failed

Hi all,

I'm unable to install/upgrade the Intellij Scala plugin on my idea, because of this error:

I get this with both 2017.1 and 2017.2 RC on macOS 10.12.6

Can someone help me with this annoying issue?

Please disable http://i.imgur.com/p037pW2.png option as the workaround.

update: removing the line: '-Djsse.enableSNIExtension=false' in my intellijVmsettings has resolved the issue.

Thanks for the information. It looks like your vmoptions has survived many updates, this options was removed long time ago.
