Stop button gone from Tools Buttons after update to 2017.2
Answered
Hey,
After updating to Intellij 2017.2 this morning my Stop button is gone from the tool bar. It now looks like this:

It also decided I need the Android plugin which I've now disabled.
How do I get my Stop button back?

This button was added by Android plug-in, see https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-161796.
You can customize the toolbar manually.
I have absolutely no interest in doing android development, but now I have load the plugin to get this basic functionality? How could this possibly be perceived as a benefit to the user? This was a poor design choice on someone's part.
You don't have to load the plug-in, you can customize the toolbar instead.
I don't get the button, with our without the plugin, with or without adding it to the bar. This is on Debian Stretch. The same operations work as advertised on MacOS, but on Linux I get nothing.
Please show your toolbar configuration.
Could you please submit an issue at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA with your IDE configuration attached (zip and attach privately the config folder, see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/206544519). Also attach idea.log there (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/207241085).
