Turning off double-alt?

There is a feature where pressing ALT twice toggles the tool windows on the borders of the application. Is it possible to turn off that feature?

There's a solution for this now:

  • Open the Registry:
    • Double-tap shift to open the `Search Anywhere` dialog
    • Type `registry`
    • Select `Registry…`
  • Check the box for setting `toolwindow.disable.overlay.by.double.key`
    • Find the setting by typing `overlay`
