Svn switch branch - unable to select branch to switch to as the popup instantly disapear

Hi,

I updated recently to version 2017.2 and I can no longer use the switch branch in the svn dialog.

Steps to reproduce :
1) Select root in project view => subversion => update directory (or directly with the dedicated ico in the tool bar)
2) in the update Directory dialig box, check the Update/Switch to spectific url 
3) in the "Use Branch" text box, click on the "..." button
4) The popup to select trunk, or branches appears, select branches
At this point the branch select pop seldom appears for a really short time.

No way to select the target branch (I have arround 30 branches), unable to actually switch with intellij.

What I tried as workarround : 

1) try to select the branch with keyboard
2) Restart intellij
3) Invalidate cache and restart
4) Use Tortoise SVN to switch.
All seem to be ok, but when I updated the branch with intellJ, it switched back to trunk and made my day a nightmare !
I reproduced this twice...

I spent 2 hours getting back to stable situation (thanks to a local git...)

Any help would be welcome.

My environment : Intellij ultimate edition 2017.2 under windows 10.
