Tabs stacks

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on an Angular 4 project. Today, I had to implement something that involved 6 components. And I ended up basically having all the files of each component opened at the same time (.component.ts, .component.html, .component.scss, .component.spec.ts). It resulted in me switching between 24 tabs constantly. And it occured to me that it would have been easier for me if the tabs were stacked per component.

So I was wondering if anything like that had ever been suggested ? I was thinking about tab stacks in the same sense Vivaldi Browser does it. No tab stacking forced, but the capability of arranging them as we need.

What's the community's and the devs' opinion on this ?
