Customize keyboard layouts

1. How can I make IntelliJ IDEA differentiate between Left Shift and Right Shift in keymap? I would like to rebind shortcuts, requiring 3 simultaneous hold (Ctrl+Alt+Insert) to say (Left_Shift+M)
2. Why Intellij IDEA doesn't see/support Hyper modifier? I would like to rebind Caps Lock key to Hyper modifier to make combinations more usable and convenient. Like Caps Lock + L === Hyper + L, which will do something usable.

 I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and Gnome environment.
