IntelliJ keeps pegging CPU
Answered
For some reason, IntelliJ has become almost unusable. I used to be able to open IntelliJ and immediately start working, searching for files, etc.
Now there's a couple of issues: First of all, it takes a really long time to search for files to index and then takes a really long time to actually index the files (~1 hour). Then, when it's finally done indexing all the files, IntelliJ immediately freezes and stops responding.

Any suggestions? I've tried clearing the cache, updating the idea.vmoptions file, restarting IntelliJ, etc.

Where/who should I send the log files to? I have the logs but there's no way to attach them.
Create a performance problem ticket at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA and attach the CPU snapshot with the logs there.
Thanks, I've created a ticket here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-179839
