Search everywhere loses focus as soon as opened (Linux)

If you press Shift twice to open "Search Everywhere" the focus is not where it used to be. Before when you opened this search window you could start typing right in the search box, but now this doesn't seem to be the case. The focus is just not in this window. This is a bug that was introduced with 2~3 patches ago.
I am using the professional version, nr. 2017.2.3.
