SVN commit error

Answered

I am a new user, moving from eclipse, and I was able to successfully checkout my project from our SVN server but when I tried to check it in after I made some changes I got the following error.  I Googled it and check here but found nothing.  (NOTE: It says "7 files committed" but it didn't.)

5:33 PM Commit failed with error
         7 files committed
         FILE_PATH_BY_PATH_ONLY_HASHING_STRATEGY

Thank You.. This is making me second guess my decision to move from Eclipse. An IDE that can't interface with version control isn't worth much..

I'm using 2017.3 Ultimate, and getting a similar error.  I get the message that "0 files committed" due to error "E210003: SSH channel is closed".  I have cleared my auth cache and re-entered my SVN password.  I can connect to the SVN repository and view the log, but committing my changes fails with this error.

@Craig,

The error you get is different. Check the logs for possible errors, and submit an issue to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA with logs attached, if neede
