Project structure gone after closing project...

Not sure what's going on but I've tried this on both my laptop and desktop.  I also tried reinstalling...deleting configs etc.

When I open a project, project structure settings are erased - module missing...jdk not set.

If I add back the info, everything is fine till I close the project.  When I reopen, the project structure is gone again.

If I create a new project, everything is fine again.  When I close and reopen, the project structure is gone like before.

Anyone know what might be the reason this is occurring?
