IntelliJ activation issue

So i downloaded the IntelliJ Community version, after the installation it asks me to sign in with my JetBrains account.
After creating an account, i tried signing in, but it keeps giving me the error "No suitable licenses associated with Account ....."
wasnt the community version suppose to be free?

You are running IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate, CE has no options to register. Please double check what IDE version you are starting.
