Resolved: IntelliJ Tomcat deployments unabel to resolve included libraries

I am deploying to a local instance of Tomcat server 6 from IntelliJ. The project is being built with gradle, and from what I can tell all needed JARs/Libraries are being included in the produced artifacts. Despite this when I deploy I am getting the following error:

Here are the imports it is failing on:

import org.springframework.stereotype.Component;

I have successfully built this project before in MyEclipse (without gradle), and know the general configuration works.

This is being built with a java 8 jdk to Java 6, which also has worked without issue for other projects in intelliJ.
