Live Edit setting missing?
I wanted to change something in the live edit settings which were originally located under the debugger heading in the settings but it's not there anymore. I tried searching for it as well with nothing showing up.
Was this feature removed? Or is this a bug. I'm assuming this is a bug because the documentation for the Live Edit feature states it was last modified on 28 November 2017.

Settings are in Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Debugger | Live Edit:
what IDE version do you use? Is Live Edit plugin enabled?
Also, please make sure that you are looking for it in Settings (Preferences on Mac), not in Default Settings

Mine is not working at all. When applying/okay-ing changes in Live Edit, nothing gets updated in the .xml files in my profile.
I've checked "Update application in Chrome", and tried everything else, but Webstorm is still debugging in its custom Chrome configuration.
I want to use the plugin because with this version, I can't debug anymore my unit tests (karma) with Webstorm. Everytime I press anything related to breakpoint (continue, stepover, stepinto etc...), Webstorm freeze for like 2 minutes.
Do your have any idea ?
Please can you elaborate on this? Do you mean that Chrome extension is not used despite having "Update application in Chrome" enabled? Does it only happen when debugging karma?
Please, please, create separate thread for issues, yours have absolutely no relation to the problem reported by @Nsarzyns.
