Scaffolding? / Template folders? / Rename project ?

In Rider I need an ASP.NET WebAPI (not Core) template project. (similar to the file templates in VS)

What I've tried:

1. Create a file template for multiple files = not possible?

2. Create a custom template project = not possible?

3. Create a new project, design it as a template. Use that project every time I need it and rename the project = all fine, but you can't rename a project?

I'm kind of out of options here, any help is very much appreciated!
