Diagram popup sequence unexpected

The “diagram type” dialog appears far from the cursor. in some IDE skins it's nearly invisible. IMHO if it appeared next to the cursor (the way the “show diagram” sub menu does) then it would have better flow, be in line-of-sight, and less confusing to new users.
But maybe I'm confused. I don't know why I'd use the popup option when I can create a normal diagram and then pull the tab to make it a better popup than the existing option (i get to keep all my controls!). If I'm only selecting a class, why does it offer me the module choice?

Popup takes less space (which might be important on smaller displays), it allows seeing the desired info quickly and can easily be dismissed with Esc / click outside, without persisting in Recent files or Switcher.
I assume this is because depending on your scenario you might need an extended picture of how your classes module interacts with other modules.
