How can I download an old version of PyCharm community version?
Dear community,
pycharm community 2023.2 for mac runs well on my mac.
However, when I click or double click a .py file in my project folder in the Projct sidebar, it gives a laggy response. But the older version works fine on my computer.
so , is there a official archive page for us to download the older version pycharm like 2020… 2021 (I forget)??

Regarding the slow performance issue, feel free to submit a report to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com providing your logs from **Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data** and we will investigate the issue.

I was in a similar position - I had to check a local history of one of my sources and it was saved with the community version 2024.2 - real headache!!
I found it with a bit of luck, links below, you may play with the version numbers and if you do, you will very likely find more (older) versions. Unfortunately, I do not know how to access it “nicely” - as in list of available downloads to click onto - the direct link is the best i got, until they remove access to that as well :-/
(I have checked the “2024.2.6.tar.gz” version, it works and saved my backside…)
