RubyMine 2023.3.5 randomly crashing after upgrading to OS X 14.4

I also have an M1 chip, with issues beginning after 14.4 was installed earlier this week. A colleague mentioned some recent news from March 19th about Java applications in general having some issues with a change to protected memory access handling in OS X 14.4. But, as it doesn't happen constantly, there may be some specific code path in RubyMine that exacerbates the issue?

 which is caused by https://blogs.oracle.com/java/post/java-on-macos-14-4

 We're working on the fix.
