GitHub Copilot login fails on " IntelliJ Idea Community edition 2024.1.3"

Hi,

I have installed GitHub Copilot 1.5.11.5872 plugin on IntelliJ Idea mentioned in the title.

Now when I try to click on the Login button of Copilot it fails with “Failed to initiate the GitHub login process. Please try again.” error.

Request to share few ideas to fix the problem.

My machine is Windows 11.

Hi Arina,

Proxy set up is not used by my local environment.

I have upload idea.log file. Please check and let me know.
