IDEA version 2016.2.4 reported as malware on Windows 10 - TrojanDownloader: JS/Tisifi
Answered
Hi,
I just tried to download and install Intellij IDEA 2016.2.4 on windows. Windows defender immediately reports a problem - TrojanDownloader: JS/Tisifi (see https://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/threat/encyclopedia/entry.aspx?Name=TrojanDownloader:JS/Tisifi!rfn&ThreatID=-2147249860). I guess this is a false match, but it would be good to be on the safe side.
Any help/assistance is much appreciated.

It's a false positive and you can allow Windows Defender to keep the files.
All our Windows installers and executables are digitally signed.
