Issue/Freeze with editing JSP files in Intellij IDEA Ultimate 2016.2

Hello Community,

when I try to edit a JSP file I have follwoing problem:

Everytime I perform a right click in or on a JSP file in the Project Tree view or in the Editor (eg. show local history or simply copy some text) Intellij seems to freeze for about one minute. CPU load does not increase during the freeze.

Did anybody else expierience such behavoir?

I already disabled all JSP Inspections in the settings but I still expierence the above mentioned problem.

Any hints to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
