Gist Insert

I love that I can save snippets to gist from PyCharm, but how can I insert them quickly? I don't want to have to open gist and copy paste into... is there a plugin that lets me do it like a code completion/live template?

you should add the ability, as it only makes sense to complement the ability to add to Gist...without an easy way to insert from Gist, I don't get why you would have integrated with Gist in the first place.
Is there another area to put in feature requests?

Feature requests can be filed at http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/

However, I don't see how invoking an "insert gist" action and pasting the URL of a gist into a dialog in PyCharm would be an improvement compared to copying and pasting the contents of the gist directly.
