Cannot deploy to JBoss after update to 2016.3

Answered

Hi,

I recently updated to IntelliJ IDEA 2016.3, and functionality for deploying to JBoss broke for both normal "Run" configuration and "Debugging".

The error message in the log is "Server is not connected. Deploy is not available".

The version of JBoss is jboss-eap-6.4, IntelliJ detects this as JBoss 7.5.3.Final-redhat-2

I reinstalled IntelliJ 2016.2, and the functionality is working perfectly. I am using the same JBoss configuration and JDK for both versions.

I've tried deleting all .idea and .iml files and reimporting the maven project from scratch, this did not do anything.

I'm getting no errors in the jboss server.log file, and intellij reports "Connected to the target VM, address: '127.0.0.1:50760', transport: 'socket'" in both 2016.2 and 2016.3.

I copied the file from the archive and restarted my machine.

Deployment seems to be working now! Thank you very much :)
